Karen Schroder

Karen Schroder, Director, Client Services, is a senior communications consultant with extensive experience in communications, public consultation and engagement, and community relations. Karen is a highly skilled project manager, acting as a trusted liaison between Kirk & Co. and many of our largest clients. Karen has excellent consultation planning expertise as well as demonstrated project management skills. She produces many of Kirk & Co.’s strategic consultation and engagement materials including online public education programs, project updates, fact sheets, discussion guides, consultation summary reports, project briefs and more.

Karen brings extensive experience to managing the implementation of a variety of online consultation tools and is an important part of Kirk & Co.’s depth of leadership in best practice consultation and engagement. Karen has years of experience with a variety of sectors including transit and transportation, energy, health care and others, skilfully managing programs to ensure key stakeholders and the public have a variety of meaningful ways to engage.

Karen lives in Vancouver and has a Master of Public Affairs from the University of Sydney and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from the University of British Columbia.
